Lakme Absolute Sculpt Hi-definition Matte Lipstick - Coco Shot Review

The last lipstick I have from this collection, is Coco Shot. Yes It is brown. Finally something better than Coffee Shot. These lipsticks were priced at Rs 700. The good news now is Flipkart is selling for 630/- Hurry if you are looking for something from this range. Here is the direct link. 

Coco Shot as the name says it's intense dark brown. The color would look rich on fair to medium skin tone girls. On dusky skin tone, like I am a MAC NC45, it kind of looks dull. I bought this as I wanted a brown color. This is a good color for a quick casual look when you really don't have time for makeup like we wear lipgloss. I go for my driving class in the morning and obviously don;t have time and don't feel like doing any just dab a bit of this for the color pay off.

I am happy with this purchase. It gives good color pay off, good coverage with little lipstick, long wear time.

Ensure you wear lip balm underneath as this dries up to matte finish in less than an hour. This is suitable for office as well, not too dark or bright just apt.

I am wearing this with a plain look, no foundation and no real eye makeup.

Now about the lipstick, it's a Red with the tint of orange like flame. It's beautiful on deep skin tone girls. Like all other lipsticks it's easy to apply either from tube or brush. For a casual look apply slightly from tube and blend with your lips. For more intense color use a lip brush to apply two layers, which would define your lips and make it look full and pretty.

Good coverage, good wear time. Lipstick dries out after half an hour or so, so it's highly recommended to have little lip balm underneath.

Lakme Absolute Sculpt Hi-definition Matte Lipstick - Burgundy Affair Review

As promised here I am with pictures of me wearing this lipstick. I bought this lipstick from Flipkart. Not sure if other retailers are selling it online yet. They are priced at Rs 700.

Burgundy Affair is a deep red color. The texture is smooth on application, giving a nice matte finish. It just goes well with NC45 (MAC) deep skin tone. You can apply directly from tube or use a brush. I applied directly from the tube, just one layer very good coverage. It isn't as sharp as other 3 I reviewed, as I used a brush to outline and fill in the color. That way it's well defined and looks sharp. For a more casual look simply swipe and blend well. It;s little difficult to apply directly from the tube as it's flat most of the time the color just goes out.

Lipstick dries out after half an hour or so, so it's highly recommended to have little lip balm underneath. Wear time is good, with or without meal.

Mauve Fix is a not a deep mauve color, but light. Good enough for all skin tone. I am MAC NC45 and this is how it looks on me.

The color pay off is good, in single swipe to cover any pigmentation. Very good wear time. Application is easy but dries to a matte finish soon. So it;s essential you have lip balm underneath.

This is a beautiful plum color, how ever the resultant color does not look like how it was on Kareena, could be due to the skin tone I am not sure. I have applied the lipstick using a lip brush to outline and define my lips.

Nice color pay off, good wear time. It;s a must to moisturize your lips before applying this lipstick as it dries down to a matte finish. I wouldn't mind wearing this to work :) I just love this color. I ordered this without even trying, as a matter of fact I didn't try any of these shades just placed order.

Crimson Touch is a beautiful Pinkish Plum shade. Use a lip brush or pencil to outline and then fill using the brush for a well defined look.

Lipstick covers pigmentation even in single swipe. It has good wear time with or without meals. I will soon try to post similar colors from MAC / Loreal / Maybelline.

I didn't want to bore you girls with long story, I kept it simple. This is how it looks on me, I am a MAC NC45.
