LYN (Live Your Now) Nail Polish Swatch Part 2 with Top coats

My last post on LYN was on April 21, 2015. I had written about some of their glitter shimmery top coats. That's when I have started experimenting nail art and explored different types of nail polishes. All my LYN collection is from Purplle. I get occasional discounts, that's where I got all LYN polishes. I bought them just by looking at the display color of product in bottle on the website, trusted my instinct and I am satisfied with my purchase too.  

I believe this post helps some if you are still looking for a purchase. I just confirmed the price from the website it's 350/- INR. for 12 ml.

In this post I have swatches for 6 nail polishes which of 5 are regular colors and 2 are top coats. Interesting shades and top coats.

LYN Gorgeous Top Coats

I only have two of them Bella Bronze (Gold Strands) and Bitter Without Glitter (Silver Strands). Both these polishes can be worn by all skin tone on any nail polish or clear coat. 

I personally liked Bella Bronze over Silver. What about you?

Colorbar Glitterati Top Coat - Swatches and Review - Indian skintone

Dear Ladies,

I am very late with all my nail polish swatch review, yet hoping it would benefit some. All these swatches are on medium - deep Indian skin tone.

I made this purchase earlier this year, and due to travel I could not post blogs for few months although I had the pictures and collage ready.

In this post I am going to talk about the most popular glitter top coats from Colorbar brand called Glitterati Collection. The full size nail polish comes in 15 ml bottle priced at 400/- I have some mini set and full size as well. You can purchase from almost all popular online shopping sites in India such as Flipkart / Jabong / Amazon etc. All the colors are pretty and you could do numerous nail art using them with different combination.

I liked all the colors especially Moss Rock. What's your favorite ? Do post your comments if you like these shades.

Loreal Paris Top Coat Swatches and Review

Top coats are in demand these days, and there are plenty from a number of brands. L'Oreal Paris has launched a few and are available in India from March/April this year. I ordered mine through Flipkart in early April.

I only bought 4 of them and totally loved it. It's priced at Rs.299 for 5 ml. I was lucky to buy with 25% discount.

It's pricey when looked at the quantity. The quality is good. It comes in the same bottle like their all other nail polish. The cap has top coat printer on it.

I have Loreal Paris Top Coats on my middle three fingers.

Essie Silver Nail Polish & nail art

This is one of my holiday or vacation nails. I don't usually wear this to everyday work, I am not going for some party. I was so glad I found these nail polish on clearance in Target.

I always wanted a peacock blue green glitters for top coat, and found one from Sally Hansen collection. I didn't know the nails would look pretty with this combination.

Essie's Ignite the Night is a silver shade with dense glitters. I wanted to add some colors to it, hence the green-blue coating at the edge. I loved having it on my nails for a week.

Only regret is removal, I had to use remover soaked cotton wrapped in silver foil twice without making a mess.

You could try any silver shade with similar top coat.

Nail Art Designs with glitter top coats

I simply applied each glitter colors on my nail as swatch in each finger. Five types of glitter top coats on 5 fingers. The result wasn't bad so I wore it for a week.

Most of glitter top coats looks nice on black nail polish. For one top coat L'Oreal Paris Jackie Tweed, I did it on top of a beige color.

Nail art design on Dull Color Nail Polish

I had some mint green color from Faces which was dull on my skin tone, and I didn't want to waste it. Tried my hands on the nail art paints and brush for the first time. I wouldn't say this is great but you could get an idea around it and useful for experts.

I tried to do streaks with white and campaign with silver in between.

Nail Art with Loreal Paris Silver Top Coat on Blue Nails

This is simple and easy. You can try this  with almost any color nail polish and any silver top coat.

Nail art dot design on Green Matte Nail Polish (Indian Skintone)

This is a common design on Matte Nail polishes. The first time I did was using the nail polish brush rough dots. This time I attempted to do with a dotting tool again first time - yes, using a dotting tool. I was so nervous while dipping on nail polish and placing on my nails, I was afraid if I would ruin the nail polish.

Nail art design on Pink Matte Nail Polish (Indian Skintone)

For a beginner who love matte nail polish this is good. No tools needed some clear nail polish or top coat. I used the nail polish brush and did this roughly on the go. It's not perfect, it doesn't have to be perfect. You may also use a dotting tool if you have one to have perfect round shapes.

This is my first one on Matte Nail Polish.

Nail art design - Pastel Green on Indian Skin tone

Most ladies would stay away picking such colors thinking this would look gaudy on them ! Try them once, this is just warm and nice on NC45.

I have used Konad Nail art pen Gold and Silver to do this design.

This is my first attempt with geometrical shapes using scotch tape. Ensure the first nail polish dries completely to prevent a mess. I left good 2 hours gaps before sticking tape.
