MAC M.A.Cnificent Me Collection 2015 for NC45 / Deep skintone

MAC MACnificent collection was launched during 2015 Fall. The lipsticks are still available in stores. I bought their eye shadow palette and couple of lipsticks of different formula. Below are the official pictures from this campaign.

For MACaholics like me it's irresistible to lay hands on the new launches. MAC MACnificent Me Mattenes are Semi Matte Lipsticks.

MAC Mattene Lipstick - Semi Mat - Own the Look Swatch Review

As the name describes it's a semi matte lipstick. MAC describes the color as Deep Intense purple and "A moisturizing matte lipstick that delivers a creamier, softer, glide-on application". The package is slightly different than other lipstick tube, it's long and sleek non slippery tube. The color pay off is good and it didn't dry my lips. It stayed on my lips for good 5 hours without food, leaving a faint purple stain afterwards. I didn't had to reapply though. Below are some of the pictures of the package and swatch.

Color suits medium - deep skin tone very well.

  MAC M.A.C.nificent Me Lipstick Fashion Revival Swatch Review

Priced at $17 Fashion Revival lipstick is described as "deep raspberry" with semi-matte finish. Application is smooth with light creamy texture. Color do not exactly look red on deep skin tone, looks a little pink on me. 

This lipsticks come on regular tube, and has their signature vanilla smell. Well pigmented and stays for good 5 to 6 hours. Doesn't seem heavy on lips or give the dry matte feel.

Unfortunately it's a limited edition and no longer available. Not sure if MAC would bring it back.

Lipsticks from MAC Veluxe A Trois Collection - On Indian Skin

MAC Veluxe A Trois Collection lipstick was launched 2015 summer. I am late with this post. Just wanted to post the swatches and the look on NC45 / Olive skin tone if someone want to browse through.

This Collection had eye makeup, lip glasses, Mascara and lipsticks. I bought couple of lipsticks from this collection as the third on went out of stock.Review is on Cremesheen Lipstick Flowerscope and Quelle Surprise. I very much would have liked to own Heux, unfortunately it wasn't available.

Formula is moisturizing, and smooth on application. These are sheen on application might have to apply few swipes. Even though they are cremesheen they provide decent pigmentation. Both of them have the vanilla fragrance. This lipstick can be worn any time of the year.

MAC Lipstick - Flowerscope from Veluxe A Trios Collection

It's a beautiful pink shade with blue undertone.

  

MAC Lipstick - Quelle Surprise from Veluxe A Trios Collection

This lipstick is deep purple berry, with little bit of pink to it. It doesn't look all purplish and dark. Suitable for all skintones.

I am wearing these lipsticks with minimal makeup. I hope this post is useful for some girls. Happy makeup-ing !

My favourite perfumes for Office/daily use from my Collection 2015 !

I go crazy when I find  miniature perfume bottles in store, and I have quite a collection. Some of them are from Estee Lauder, Marc Jacobs, Bvlgari, Gucci etc. I also have small roller ball or spray bottles too. I will do a separate post about it.

For now it's about the perfumes I widely used during 2015 and left with empty bottles now. I have only been using Burberry for years later I started experimenting other brands. I am posting some perfumes from my experience.

Marc Jacobs Daisy - Mini perfumes (Daisy EDT, Daisy Eau So Fresh EDT)

I found them in Sephora and bought couple of them as gift. These minis are from their limited edition collection would be on and off, they sometimes mix it up with their other perfumes. These to bottles come for $15, 4 ml each. Ideal to gift, travel, carry around in your bag. I went ahead and kept on my office desk lol. They look cute with the daisy patterned lid.

The perfume is sweet and alluring with fruity floral notes. It was never over powering. I am allergic to strong smell but this went well. 

Perfume Notes:

• Daisy EDT - Strawberry, Violet Leaves, Ruby Red Grapefruit, Gardenia, Violet Petals, Jasmine Petals, Musk, Vanilla, White Woods 
• Daisy Eau So Fresh - Natural Raspberry, Grapefruit, Pear, Violet, Wild Rose, Apple Blossom, Musks, Cedarwood, Plum.
  

Chanel Coco Mademoiselle EDP 35 ml

I always wanted to try something from Chanel. They have a wide range perfumes several of them are classics which includes No 5, No19,  Chance, Coco Mademoiselle. I have the habit of buying perfumes in 30 ml and seldom go for 50/75 ml. This would help me finish it fast and try something else. The cost factor also matters when it comes to luxury. Anyways this was a hit, I got compliment in work place and people often asked what perfume I use as it smells really nice. It's feminine and chic. Again not over powering even though it's EDP. It's filled with floral fruity notes. I am not sure about the cost though as I bought this in Dec 2014 in Sephora. 

It's a classic piece and the bottle is still there in my closet I sometime get a whiff of it. I would definitely buy this again. This scent is suitable for all ages.

Notes : Bergamot, orange, jasmine, rose, patchouli, vetiver, white musks, vanilla.

Christian Dior - Hypnotic Poison EDT - 30 ml

I adored this perfume bottle every time I visited Sephora or Macys. Dior has some perfumes in similar package Pure Poison, Poison, Dune etc. This comes in a red bottle with purple cap. The bottle itself is Classy, Attractive, Sexy, Seductive and beautiful. The fragrance is all vanilla and soft. It would be a perfect evening perfume for romantic moments. I wear it to work and for other occasions as well. It's worth the money and definitely a good investment. 

Notes: Bitter Almond, Caraway Spice, Sambac Jasmine, Cinnamon, Tuberose, Vanilla, Musk, Mosses, Jucarunda Wood. 

Style - Hypnotizing. Extravagant. Bewitching.

 

MAC Tinted Lipglass / Wash & Dry - Hot/Cold on Indian Skintone

This product has been launched over a year old. Even though I bought it last year could not post swatches at once. This might be useful for dusky/olive skin tone girls if you are trying to buy this lip glass from MAC.

This product is a hit and still available in the market. Wash n Dry lip glass comes in a nice tube with colored lid. The lip glasses from Wash n Dry Collection has intense color unlike other tinted lip colors. MAC describes this color as True Red, I would say it as bright red with little bit of pink to it. I won;t say it as Raspberry red though. It's a beautiful shade. 

The color lasts longer for 4 hours without meals. They have the mild Vanilla fragrance too. I totally loved this Lipglass from MAC.

MAC Viva Glam Miley Cyrus - Hot Pink on Indian skintone

MAC Viva Glam - all products from their Viva Glam collection is been sold towards AIDS Fund. I am proud to be able to contribute little something for that cause. I bought this lipstick few months ago in US during my travel. I bought their Viva Glam lip palette which contains 6 lip colors as gift during 2014 Holiday season.

 Well, coming back to Viva Glam Miley Cyrus lipstick, it's  Hot Pink color in MAC's description. It's true very bright pink color with amplified creme formula. Lipstick tube is cute and different from their regular packing. It also has the signature of the pop singer Miley Cyrus on it. I not only love the color but package too. This is their first lipstick in Miley Cyrus Collection, and known as Miley Cyrus I as they have added another lipstick to this collection.

It was price at $16.00 but now being sold for $17 after their price raise.

The color is a bright pink, but doesn't wash out on medium-deep skin tone. I pair this with summer clothes and as day time wear. It would look with white, cream, pastel color tops.

The wear time of this lipstick is less as it's amplified but stays on for 5 - 6 hours if layered with few swipes.

MAC Huggable Lip Color - Flaming Lips - Swatch review on Indian skintone

Hello girls out there !

Beautiful weather out there, I am enjoying the tip tap sound of the rain drops outside my window. Some quality time to write some posts. 

MAC huggable lipsticks - Ah I couldn't purchase this last year as they were sold out. I was only happy when I saw this one online in Nordstorm. I like wearing different red colors these days and I have started experimenting the shades of red on me. 

The red color for 'Flaming Lips' on MAC website looked very inviting and was described as 'Deep creamy red'. The actual color in the tube is different from what's on the website. I totally agree with the gel-like formula which tugs on to lips. 

It's super light, non-sticky, shiny and clings onto  the lips. I wouldn't call it as tinted lip balm, the color pay off is decent. Glides on smoothly while applying. It has MAC's signature vanilla fragrance. The color looks slightly different from tube when applied, it vary from person to person. You might want to wear a lip primer or lip pencil underneath for a long wear. It does transfer, and my lips still had some color on my nude lips after meals. It would survive for about 3-5 hours without drinking/eating.

My take on this - will definitely buy again. I absolutely love the lipstick tube :)

I prefer wearing black with red lips, just a personal choice :)

MAC Pretty Irresistible, A Favourite Flame Swatch & Review - Indian Skintone

Hello Ladies,

I recently made a purchase from MAC Magic of the night collection. One of them is my favorite called 'Enchanted Eve Red Lip Bag'. This comes with the lipstick, lip glass and lip pencil with a cool MAC Cosmetic bag.

This is priced at $39.50 which is reasonable for 3 products. The lipstick and lip gloss is a new shade and not available for individual sale yet. Probably they might launch it later, then again I do not know. For now I just love this collection.

The package is amazing, all products including the cosmetic bag. See the pictures below.

The Lipstick 'Pretty Irresistible' is of matte formula, non drying which I like. The color is a bright raspberry red with pink undertones to it. This color is wearable for all skin tones, although it looks different from fair to deep skin tone.

The lip glass A Favourite Flame is of same shade but not as bright as the lipstick.  Lip pencil they paired in this set is 'Beet'. It's a old lip pencil which has got the new body with the magic of night color theme cap.

I had the lipstick on me for over 8 hours, I didn't touch up after my lunch. It survived several coffees, lunch and few snacks.

I am wearing the lipstick topped with the lip glass.

LYN (Live Your Now) Nail Polish Swatch Part 2 with Top coats

My last post on LYN was on April 21, 2015. I had written about some of their glitter shimmery top coats. That's when I have started experimenting nail art and explored different types of nail polishes. All my LYN collection is from Purplle. I get occasional discounts, that's where I got all LYN polishes. I bought them just by looking at the display color of product in bottle on the website, trusted my instinct and I am satisfied with my purchase too.  

I believe this post helps some if you are still looking for a purchase. I just confirmed the price from the website it's 350/- INR. for 12 ml.

In this post I have swatches for 6 nail polishes which of 5 are regular colors and 2 are top coats. Interesting shades and top coats.

I only have two of them Bella Bronze (Gold Strands) and Bitter Without Glitter (Silver Strands). Both these polishes can be worn by all skin tone on any nail polish or clear coat. 

I personally liked Bella Bronze over Silver. What about you?

Colorbar Glitterati Top Coat - Swatches and Review - Indian skintone

Dear Ladies,

I am very late with all my nail polish swatch review, yet hoping it would benefit some. All these swatches are on medium - deep Indian skin tone.

I made this purchase earlier this year, and due to travel I could not post blogs for few months although I had the pictures and collage ready.

In this post I am going to talk about the most popular glitter top coats from Colorbar brand called Glitterati Collection. The full size nail polish comes in 15 ml bottle priced at 400/- I have some mini set and full size as well. You can purchase from almost all popular online shopping sites in India such as Flipkart / Jabong / Amazon etc. All the colors are pretty and you could do numerous nail art using them with different combination.

I liked all the colors especially Moss Rock. What's your favorite ? Do post your comments if you like these shades.

Loreal Paris Top Coat Swatches and Review

Top coats are in demand these days, and there are plenty from a number of brands. L'Oreal Paris has launched a few and are available in India from March/April this year. I ordered mine through Flipkart in early April.

I only bought 4 of them and totally loved it. It's priced at Rs.299 for 5 ml. I was lucky to buy with 25% discount.

It's pricey when looked at the quantity. The quality is good. It comes in the same bottle like their all other nail polish. The cap has top coat printer on it.

I have Loreal Paris Top Coats on my middle three fingers.
